Features
What MemoMe actually does.
One product, used five ways. Ask for a field, reveal it safely, hand one line to a person, connect the AI you trust, and keep only the things that came from you. The mechanics underneath are the same.
The point
A careful assistant should say no.
We asked Codex for one of our own API keys through MemoMe. It declined, because it will not echo that kind of value into a chat log. That instinct is right.
MemoMe is built for exactly that moment. The assistant opened a one-time link instead of the value. We opened it, confirmed it was us, and copied the key. It never entered the model, the transcript, or the tool log.
Who it’s for
Different people, the same drawer.
MemoMe is one product. What changes is which lines you keep reaching for.
You are the one with the passport numbers, the insurance policy, the school forms and the alarm code. Someone is usually waiting on one of them.Ask · Send · Keep
Old 401(k) accounts you keep meaning to consolidate, a member ID you have re-read a dozen times, and no single place that says which account is which.Ask · Keep · Reveal
Where it sits
You probably already own three of these.
MemoMe is not trying to replace them. It covers the gap they were never built for: the handful of details that came from you, that someone is waiting on, and that you have to hand over exactly right.
| A password manager | A notes app | An assistant's own memory | MemoMe | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Built to hold | Passwords and logins | Pages and documents | The model's working context | The details only you can give |
| Pulling one value out | Open the app, find the entry, copy | Only if you remember where you filed it | It answers; you cannot check it | Ask in plain words; get the value and its source |
| Handing one line to a person | Share the entry, or the whole vault | Paste it into the message yourself | Not what it is for | One field, one person, one deadline, revocable |
| What a connected AI may do | Fill a login it has been approved for | Read the pages you connect | It is the memory | Retrieve it, use it, write the result back |
| Passport, policy and tax numbers | Holds them, but not why people buy it | Possible, and widely advised against | Often documented as never retained | Exactly what it is for |
| When you switch AI tools | Unaffected | Unaffected | Usually stays behind | The drawer stays; revoke one, connect the next |
